Maxine Waters is, in my opinion, in violation of the Sedition Act, which says, in part: Sedition includes acts, deeds, writings or speeches that can, even if not intended, stir up the peace of the state, or that move people to dislike, resist, or subvert the government of the day.
SEDITION crimes. Raising commotions or disturbances in the state; it is a revolt against legitimate authority.
Side note: It should go, without saying, but United States Cabinet Members are, by definition, “legitimate authority”.
Maxine Waters refused to apologize for inciting people to harass President Trump’s staff, saying, “I have not called for the harm of anybody.” Really? She thinks traumatizing people is harmless. She tries to make it glaringly evident, at least once a day, that she is not Mensa material.
She told people to get in their (anyone who works for POTUS, mainly Cabinet Members) faces and harass them. It’s distressing when someone, especially an angry mob, invades your space, while yelling and screaming at you. I can tell you it’s definitely traumatizing. According to the National Institute of General Medical Sciences, “psychological trauma is an emotional or psychological injury”. Emotional scars can be worse than physical scars.
It’s not likely she will resign her seat in the House, so the House Judiciary Committee should begin impeachment proceedings against her. Maxine Waters is unfit for public office, and needs to be removed.
Disturbing the peace laws exist to prevent people from disturbing the peace of others while they are tending to their daily business and personal affairs, i.e., shouting in a public place, holding an unlawful public assembly, or shouting out of a car window in front of a person’s home. Breach of Peace, or Disturbing the Peace crimes are punishable by fines and/or jail time.
Below are some legal descriptions of these laws, or ordinances.
It shall be unlawful for any person to:
Make, continue, maintain or cause to be made or continued any excessive, unnecessary, unreasonable or unusually loud noise or any noise in such manner as to annoy, offend, disturb, injure or endanger the comfort, repose, health, peace or safety of any reasonable person of normal auditory sensitivity residing in the area.
Disturbing the peace is a crime generally defined as the unsettling of proper order in a public space through one’s actions. This can include disturbing others by loud and unreasonable noise.
Disturbing the peace, also known as breach of the peace, is a criminal offense that occurs when a person engages in some form of disorderly conduct, such as causing excessively loud noise. When a person’s words or conduct jeopardizes another person’s right to peace and tranquility, he or she may be charged with disturbing the peace.
Congresswoman Maxine Waters is overtly encouraging people to engage in criminal activity, for which she can be charged, as an (1) Accessory Before the Fact, or as an (2) Accomplice – encouraging a person, or persons to commit a crime.
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) warned members of Donald Trump’s Cabinet to be prepared for a slew of outraged heckling and public shaming on the streets and in restaurants and stores. Here is part of what she said:
“They’re not going to be able to go to a restaurant, stop at a gas station, shop at a department store. The people are going to turn on them, they’re going to protest, they’re going to absolutely harass them. You think we’re rallying now? You ain’t seen nothing yet,” she vowed at an enthusiastic Los Angeles rally Saturday. “Already you have members of your Cabinet that are being booed out of restaurants … protesters taking up at their house.”
She made these statements in a public assembly, not on the floor of the House, where she would have been immune to any charges.
I demand that she be arrested immediately, before she escalates to “inciting to riot”, which would be the next natural step.
The mob at MXDC Cocina Mexicana restaurant, that accosted Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen last night, was the Metro D.C. Democratic Socialists of America, a mindless ideology, which is a magnet for mindless followers, AKA useful idiots, as Lenin referred to his adherents.
Because the Socialist/Communist dogma is based on feeling, as opposed to thinking, its followers are unable to articulate an argument, which leaves them with the only method they have to redress a perceived injustice; mob rule. They can’t compete in the arena of ideas, so they shout down, threaten, and intimidate anyone with whom they disagree. Well aware that ‘useful idiots’ would have to function with limited facility, Marx, Lenin, and Alinsky left “playbooks” for them to follow, and last night’s demonstration was right out of Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” handbook.
These gangs are made up of ‘volunteer idiots’ and ‘recruited idiots’. After they carry out an assignment, they pick up their checks from George Soros, Van Jones, Bernie Sanders, Obama’s Shadow Government, or whoever is paying, and retreat to the two bedroom apartment where all thirty of them live, or individually, go back to Mom and Dad’s basement.
